COMPANY BACKGROUND

Panasonic is a customer-oriented full service company providing customer with the world class audio and other electronic product at the best quality, technologies and services at competitive cost.

Panasonic Corporation head office was in Osaka, Japan. March 7,1918 is the date of establish is taken as the date that the company‘s original three member that is the founder , the late Konosuke Matsuhita and his wife  and brother in law began manufacturing and selling attachment plug then Konosuke had invented himself.

 In Malaysia, Panasonic itself has 22 cos with nine different category of company including Manufacturing, Sales, R&D, Logistic/Trading, Finance, Insurance, Construction, Management and Solutions around the peninsular Malaysia.

                Panasonic Automotive System (PASMY) have 2 232 people total of employee which include direct worker for 1 482 people and indirect 750 people. With total area 100,700m2 and building with 26000m2.

PASMY HISTORY

Starting from sept 1990 using the name “FMS Audio” produce a mix of model that is ford, mazda and sanyo. After six years, Jan 1996 FMS Audio just produce for mazda and sanyo.

FMS Audio change the name to Sanyo Automedia on Mar 2000 and produce 100% of Sanyo product. On December 2008, there be transfer project of Panasonic and Sanyo. Panasonic Automotive System group as a Manufacturing Company and on August 2013 the PASMY establish officially as Panasonic Automotive System Malaysia.

            There several product of Panasonic in Peninsular Malaysia.

 

 

COMPANY ACTIVITY

            PASMY process of product divide to three stage starting from SMT (Service Mount Technologies) final Assembly and FGI (Finished Good Inspection).

            For PASMY, the main product that PASMY produce is car audio. Second product is faceplate, third product is display, cd mechanism and others. For car audio, several model that PASMY produce for is Ford, Mazda, GM, Suzuki and honda.
