TECHNICAL REPORT

4.1.BARCODE LABEL .

Stencil in this condition is a thin sheet of metal with a pattern or letters cut out of it, used to produce the cut design on the surface below by the application of solder paste through the holes using the machine printer.

This machine printer solder paste on a printed circuit boards (PCB) to create electrical connections. After screen printing a component placement machine (Pick and place machine) places immediately components into the screen printed paste. For screen printing you need besides the machine a (metal) stencil and solder paste.

In this situation, barcodes are often overlooked as a method for cutting costs and saving time to track a valuable data.

To make the barcode label, need the Label Editor Application.

Open the Label Editor .

The menu for new label setup will apear. For this barcode labelling, we used EPSON LW-900P printer. For tape width, click                                       . The measurement of the tape will be auto correct.

Next , click at the                       horizontal Text , for new template of barcode.

Click                       to continue.

Next, on the top is the toolbar.

Click on the barcode on the Tools toolbar to draw a text box, or from the insert menu to display all barcode generators and select the required function from the list.

A barcode function translates a numerical code to a text string, which yields the desired barcode when printed with a special barcode font. In setting column, use code 128 for the barcode series. For barcode height and thin bar width is automatically. As the argument to the barcode function, enter the database field that contains the code that should be translated into a barcode. Some barcode functions require another argument. Hint ok button to finish.

 

The barcode will appear with the information of data below the barcode. Lastly, click the printer icon to print the barcode.

 

4.2 TV DISPLAY

The functionality of TV display is to shown the information of the current product of the production result that produce from the machine.

To set up the tv display is using EZcast Apps.
Open EZcast software in taskbar at PC desktop.
Search and connect to the current wifi network. Each line has their own network link.
Connect and the menu interface will appear.

Double-click at the "Mirror Off" icon to make it link with the tv. Make sure click the mirror off icon until it turns to " Mirror Extend Screen".

 Lastly, open the interface that need to display and maximize it to display.

4.3 TRANFER/MOVING FILE SERVER

Moving/transfer file server to local storage. Open WinSCP to open the file server. Log in as administrator. The interface will show both file server and local. Make sure open the same folder when tranfering the data.

Figure below show the list of data in every line that has on traceability.

The moving type has two condition, process and unprocess. Need to transfer both of that file to the local storage. When click on every line folder it will show the two file of data process and unprocess.

For local storage, click the line folder. Then choose quarantine log.

Next, click mount_log to open the process and unprocess file.

 The interface of server file and local has to be same as shown.

 

 Shift + click the file. The date must before the current date.  Right click the highlight folder and choose move to move file from server.

 

The pop up menu will appear and before move, click the transfer setting and use the binary transfer. Then click move.

 

The file is transferring. Do for line one, three and four.

4.4 SCANNER TRACEABILITY SETTING

For NPM Machine, use scanner to scan and record the data of pcb. To set up the setting, check the laser beam condition to make sure the scanner can read the pcb bar code.

 

Press the Tune button to show up the laser beam. Press again the tune button to turn off the laser beam. Press the Tune button to test it either if green color appear is mean okay and if it red color it’s mean Not Good.

 

 

 

 

 

Next, to make a new setting of the scanner, open AutoIDNetwork application. Plug in the USB extension and connect with pc for tuning session. Open the Barcode Reader.Click the Monitor button. Adjust Jig of the barcode until the green box appear in barcode column. Click the tuning button for tune. After tuning session is finish, click the Send Configuration button to save.
